For nearly 40 years we have served student loan borrowers as TG, or Texas Guaranteed Student Loan Corporation. We are changing our name to Trellis Company, but not changing our commitment to you. We’re excited to support your needs. How may we help you?

Your TG loan has not changed hands. Although our company name and brand are different, your loan is still with us. We are here to help you successfully repay your federal student loan.
Although you will start to see Trellis Company on letters, invoices, and other communications, there are no changes to your actual loans, repayment amounts, payment schedules, or anything else associated with your account.
No worries. Checks made payable to TG or Trellis Company will work.
Our new name becomes official on November 1. At that time, we’ll have a new website and URL. For a while, you’ll still be able to get there from TG.org, but please bookmark the new site.
The name change will take a little time. You will see both TG and Trellis Company logos and references on many communication pieces. Rest assured that the information is accurate and the company is still the same.
The myTG payment portal will continue to work. Eventually, it will transition to a new name that better aligns with Trellis Company. But, myTG will continue to work and, eventually, it will redirect you to the new payment portal. We will notify you when the payment portal changes.
